THE PROPERTY
Situated in one of the most famous historical districts in the medina, Bab Taghzoute, one of the most authentic neighborhoods, this property is located far just few steps walk from the souq and 15 min. walk from Jemaa el Fna square, Musée de Marrakech, Medersa Ben Youssef, Majorelle Gardens.
The total area of approximately 150m2 offers a patio with a 1.80m x 2.5m plunge and refreshing pool, living room with fireplace, kitchen, balcony on the 1st floor overlooking the patio, 4 double bedrooms.
The second floor has a lounge area under the veranda, where you can have breakfast or enjoy an aperitif under the stars and a roof terrace for sunbathing and enjoying the view of the medina and the Atlas mountains.
ROOMS
The Riad has 3 double rooms and 1 suite. All the rooms are bright with high ceilings and traditional architectural elements, furnished with traditional elements, wood accents, and woven tapestries and textiles. All the rooms have en-suite Tadelakkt bathrooms with shower, wc, an hair dryer, a safe for personal use and storage spaces. All rooms are air conditioned.
HIGHLIGTHS
PATIO & POOL: the patio, characterized by the plunge pool, in traditional handmade mosaic, has the advantage of keeping cool during the warm months, giving a pleasant feeling of relaxation upon returning from a long day in the souq.
LIVING ROOM: a comfortable living room where you can converse with friends after dinner, in front of the fireplace in winter evenings, made with the typical 'tadelakt' concrete, accessible from the patio, has two comfortable sofas and armchairs. The connected dining room leads to the kitchen which will be at your complete disposal.
SOLARIUM: on the roof there are comfortable sun beds where you can enjoy the sun and a breathtaking view of the Atlas mountains and the medina. The terrace offers the view of beautiful sunsets.
TERRACE: the terrace outside the bedrooms on the second floor, surrounded by green plants and flowers, has shady sofas under the pergola, available for our guests. A perfect corner to work on PC or read a good book. In good weather breakfast and dinner will be served on the veranda upon your request.
KITCHEN: the kitchen is located on the ground floor, fully equipped and available to our guests. It has a gas stove, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, electric juicer, fridge and items. A rich typical Moroccan breakfast will be prepared and served every morning.

NEED TO KNOW
LOCAL GUESTS & SLEEPOVERS: bringing locals (moroccan girls or guys) for various purposes to guesthouses in morocco is strictly forbidden by law. We will risk penalties and pursuit by law and a lot of unpleasant problems.
Additional guests, not declared at the time of booking are NOT allowed in the house, any visit must be agreed in advance with the management.
LOCATION
The riad is located in Bab Taghzoute, one of the most authentic neighborhoods in the medina of Marrakech. It 'easy to see how the locals live their daily life. In the vicinity of the riad there are many local shops where to find food, fruits and vegetables. Among the best restaurants just minutes from the riad, I Limoni, Dar Zellij, Cafe Arabe, Le Jardin. Local hammam and renowned Spa, Hammam de la Rose which is 10 minutes away. Jemaa El Fna Square a 15-minute walk through the souks, where you can listen to storytellers, sipping a mint tea in one of the many terraces with panoramic views of the square. You will have opportunity to try dishes prepared by local vendors on the street, during lunch and dinner, grilling beef, chicken and lamb, brochette, tajine and tanjia.
Rue Dar el Bacha and the Governor's Palace are just a short walk from the riad. If you are tired after the long haggling in the souks, you can catch a carriage with horses and visit Majorelle Garden in Gueliz, the new city. In Bab Taghzoute you can take easy a taxi and reach Gueliz in 10 minutes. This area allows you to live a real experience in the bustle of the medina and to leave behind the confusion that characterizes the souks, in the tranquility of a former home, the riad.
